Google’s Matt Cutts | How to Get Better Visibility on Google

Interview with Matt Cutt’s. Think about what users will search for to find your page, make sure those words are on your page. Title tags are very important for SEO. Make sure you use the “description” meta tags, it’s often displayed as text next to your link in the search results, it should be engaging and make people want to click thru. One of the best ways to “find links” is to start a blog – talk about your business and your personal thoughts as well. People will link to you naturally if you have good ideas to write about and/or interesting thoughts to share. You don’t have to pay Google to be found in the search results, buying ads doesn’t help either. Google should be able to find your site within days, the best way to be found by google is to get links to your site. Submitting a site map also helps.
